She tossed and turned in our big hotel bed antsy for the morning to come. She and I awoke before the other bridesmaids who remained curled up in oversized comforters not quite ready to face the day. The hairstylists would be arriving any minute. Fruit and bagels were waiting for us in the fridge. Coffee in the lobby. She had thought of every detail but she was still mulling over what she might have forgotten.
But she didn’t. The day flew by flawlessly as she and Andrew walked down the aisle to become Mr. and Mrs.
I love these two and I love their relationship. It’s the perfect amount of give and take…. and watching them make funny faces at each other throughout the ceremony was pretty amusing. I’m so glad I’ve been able to watch them go from the shy, blushing girl with the big crush… to the guy who would give his two legs for her… to a couple surrounded by all the people that love them the most (you guys do know that many people).
So jealous you guys are in St. Lucia right now! Can’t wait to hear about it and visit you in ‘Bama… errr maybe Nashville. LYLT.
