1) Rolling suitcases on cobblestone streets is one of the most annoying noises in the world
2) Don’t order the egg loaf (they disguise it with the appetizing name “frittata” … don’t be fooled)
3) The best way to see any city is on foot, even if that means walking from dusk till dawn and through siesta
4) Tapas, Tapas, everywhere
5) There is an esteemed method acting program in Barcelona, or so I’m told by an Argentenian method actor
6) If you meet a pint-sized Catalan woman named Josefa, befriend her even if you don’t understand a word she says
7) If you happen to stumble upon a hippie infused celebration of Earth Day, just go with it
8 ) No matter what you do, you will look like an American tourist, tennis shoes, blue jeans, and bad hair aside
9) Making the effort to speak the native language goes a long way even if you sound like a Spanish toddler
